Data solves Chobits mystery

If you didn't get it, you probably don't know either Star Trek or Chobits (or both). Recently I read some Star Trek books and felt an urge to make some fanart, so I took a look round dA... and decided to contribute.
I simply had to draw these two together! Both are artificial life forms and both have their kinda "dark" twins .
So... the problem was nobody knew why the Chobits (special type of persocoms) can have feelings... and Data of course found the answer, as he himself tries to become as close to human as possible. Here we are! ( I love crossovers. I had no better idea so far, but I would like to draw more of these androids/persocoms fanart.) I had a lot of fun making it. While I remember the Start Trek uniform, Chii's outfit was just what I remembered from the show, no reference. I decided to leave it as it is, even with little differencies, but at least it is something new. I like seeing Chii in new clothes. ^-^
