I sometimes overdo it a bit with folds, but I prefer more rather than none. Here is a recipe how to make a painty-looking fabric with some folds or how to make textures on clothes. Enjoy!
Feel free to explore this technique as well as others and find your style.

It's so simple it's genius. I have seen a lot of tutorials about wrinkles, clothing, and light, and most require a lot of labor to achieve basically the same results. Excellent work.
